TEOTIHUACAN
Cultural Heritage of Mankind. Teotihuacán, ‘The city where men become gods’, was one of the largest urban centers of ancient Mexico and of great influence in the economic, religious, political and cultural spheres of Mesoamerica.
We will visit the monumental archaeological zone and its main pyramids in a pleasant walk on the ‘Avenue of the Dead’, starting in the Temple dedicated to Quetzalcoatl, with its facade adorned with feathered serpent heads and continuing towards the Pyramid of the Sun, an imposing monument built on a natural cave, before finally reaching the Pyramid of the Moon with its square surrounded by great temples and palaces.
